Well, we don't mean anyone any harm

So my big mathematics-blog plans didn't happen this week, which I blame on getting ready for Anthrohio. But here, this is what I can make of it all:

Oh yeah, almost forgot to ask What's Going On In Rex Morgan, M.D.? Choking and Corporate Intrigue, March - May 2018.

Now let me spend a little time with stuff at Keansburg Amusement Park none of which is stuff we rode.

The kiddie Whip ride. There's not a full-size Whip at Keansburg but at least the kids can experience the fun.

A dizzy-dragons ride that people our size weren't going to fit in, but that's still pretty cute. We'd see another of these soon.

One of the redemption-game storefronts was opened up when it probably shouldn't have been, and it showed off various storage-room stuff. Interesting to me is that ride car to the left of the golf cart that sure looks like a Jetsons flying-car cabin for some kiddie ride.

So in the futuristic world of the Demolition Man the Redemption Game wars have ended and the Prize Cube crane game won, becoming the only game there is anymore.

bunny_hugger beneath a crescent moon, in the evening glow of Keansburg's ``boardwalk''. (Well, there's no boards, are there?)

The enticing entrance to the Haunted Manor and the sign with the disappointing news that it wasn't open that day.

Trivia: Adrian Van der Donck's 1650s treaties A Description Of New Netherland, a major contemporary description of what is now the Hudson Valley, has had only one published English translation, an incomplete version first printed in 1841. (And translated by Jeremiah Johnson, a former mayor of Brooklyn.) Source: The Island at the Centre of the World: The Untold Story of the Founding of New York, Russell Shorto.
