Later we'll have some pumpkin pie and we'll do some caroling

Oh yeah, I never gave you looks into our own Christmas trees for the 2019-20 season. Have a few pictures, please.

SAM_0249.jpg

Our downstairs tree, the larger and the one we have to move a bookshelf for.

SAM_0250.jpg

The angel-bunny tree topper. Also one of the glass candy canes that we got at ... I want to say Santa's Workshop in Colorado, but I bet I'm wrong.

SAM_0251.jpg

Some of the ornaments commemorating poor Columbo, whom we knew too short a while. Notice the wood-cut ornament has a carrot-themed ribbon bunny_hugger got to decorate March Hare Madness pinball trophies.

SAM_0257.jpg

The downstairs tree illuminated only by its own decorations. The bright cyan pieces are Hallmark Keepsake ornaments themed to amusement park rides and that play a song together.

SAM_0258.jpg

Our stairwell and the front door, illuminated also.

And here's the upstairs tree. This is always a smaller one but that doesn't mean it's not adorable too.

SAM_0264.jpg

The nook into which the tree fits. The door there leads to the attic so we try to not need the attic for December.

Close look at some of the decorations of the upstairs tree.

Trivia: In January 1824 Michael Faraday was elected Fellow of the Royal Society, with one dissenting vote.
