It won't be long

I want to use today just to show photographs of the games we have at our venue. I need time for an easy post and we'll want a record of what's there for later on.

Top floor, left: Walking Dead, Star Trek: The Next Generation (turned off), Lord of the Rings (one of our original games), and AC/DC (rumored to be on its way out).

Top floor, center: Tales of the Arabian Nights (one of our longest-present games), The Beatles, The Simpsons (not much liked by the serious players but absolutely beloved by the general bar patronage), and The Mandalorian (on its second day there).

Top floor, second center: Iron Maiden, Kiss, Star Wars (Stern, very very complicated), Road Show (also rumored to be on its way out), and The Munsters (really hard but it has fun modes).

Top floor, left corner: Junk Yard (almost off-screen), Getaway, Tron, Indiana Jones, and The Addams Family.

Top floor, right corner: Deadpool, Star Trek (Stern 2013), Rush (on its third week there), and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Stern and almost impossible).

Bottom floor, by the pool tables: Guardians of the Galaxy, Willy Wonka (the lone Jersey Jack game here), Elvira's House of Horrors, Jurassic Park (Stern), and Batman 66 (love it).

The Alcove, back wall, the original location of our league's five games: Elvira's Scared Stiff, Medieval Madness (a remake; an original Williams was one of our first set of games), Ghostbusters, Monster Bash, and Game of Thrones. (None of these were the original games, they're just in the location the league started from.)

The Alcove, by the window (obscured by the games): Attack From Mars (remake edition), Black Knight: Sword of Rage, Godzilla (every shot on this game is a satisfying one), Metallica, and Stranger Things (also a favorite with the patrons).

Trivia: Major John Burgoyne, who lead British forces at the Battle of Saratoga, was also a playwright. The renowned David Garrick put on his Maid of the Oaks at Drury Lane. ource: Redcoats and Rebels: The American Revolution Through British Eyes, Christopher Hibbert.

Currently Reading: Across The Airless Wilds: The Lunar Rover and the Triumph of the Final Moon Landings, Earl Swift.
