I had to leave the city cause it really brought me down

Started yet another MiSTing over on my humor blog. That's not to say I stopped doing the March Pairwise Brackety Contest thing even though we're quite far past March. Here's the stuff run since the last week:

My pictures here are from Saturday afternoon at Motor City Furry Con, after the fursuit parade and before anything particular was happening.

It was like ten degrees Fahrenheit, so I don't know why folks would want to take their heads off like this.

Those mirror-twin cats or possibly dogs again! I bet they were there together.

Coming back inside. There's a pretty slick dragon.

One of the rabbits from the rescue charity, showing incredible patience at resting on someone's shoulder. They picked rabbits to show that were comfortable with this, of course.

That's not to say they didn't want to burrow underneath hair, where possible.

Meanwhile the other counts herself lucky to be left on the ground ... for now.

Trivia: In the years after baseball eliminated the ``bound rule'' --- that a ball was out if caught on the first catch --- there are many accounts of clubs with ``demoralized'' fielders as the batting team put up twenty or thirty runs in one inning. Source: But Didn't We Have Fun? An Informal History of Baseball's Pioneer Era, 1843 - 1870 .Peter Morris. (In this era, balls were more solid blocks of rubber; the fields were un-maintained and so had small hills, divots, rocks, and other things making it difficult to run; and fielders did not have gloves but caught bare-handed.)
