Her daughters go out, now it's her turn to wait

Had a video interview today that turned out to include a coding demonstration, which I fumbled. I think I did fine explaining my reasoning, but I didn't get any working code written (and I realized afterwards it could have been done much more simply). Ah well; so, I don't have to tease myself with the prospect of this going anywhere. Here's some more of Michigan's Adventure.

A wagon decorated with flowers, some of the theming of the Old West-ish area that's the only really themed part of the park.

Train just starting the lift hill on Wolverine Wildcat. The coaster only has a single train, and I understand that seemed all they could ever need when they built the ride in 1988 but seems like it makes maintenance harder.

So the Flying Trapeze ride isn't running? Well, maybe it's going to open later in the day?

Ride arms taken off the Flying Trapeze swings ride and set off way to the side.

Here you can see the boards they'd set ride parts on, during some of the disassembly.

And more of the parts taken off Flying Trapeze, set to the side of things. I assume the ride's being renovated and might even be running by the next time we get to the park.

Trivia: Viking 1's landing site was not finally chosen until the 12th of July, 1976, eight days before touchdown. It was the 22nd meeting of the Landing Site Staff. The final decision was unanimous. Source: On Mars: Explorations of the Red Planet 1958 - 1978, Edward Clinton Ezell, Linda Newman Ezell. (Part of the delay was in waiting for the orbiters to provide more detailed photograph and radar imaging of the candidate landing sites, and, of course, the data did not seem consistent about how rough the interesting sites were.)
