So you can't see me, no not at all

Remember my mathematics blog? That was nice. Meanwhile you might like to know Why is everyone mad at _Funky Winkerbean_ this week? (December 18, 2022). I'm happy to help. With that out of the way, now, we can get back to Cedar Point and Halloweekends and enjoy actually getting into the park and not quite doing anything. Well, we had to get lunch.

Poster on the construction walls advertising what the area is to look like next season, with the Scrambler and Himalaya relocated and a new roller coaster and yet another restaurant built up.

SAM_3305.jpg

And the wall with stenciled Cedar Point and G A Boeckling Company logos on it. The Giant Wheel's beyond.

SAM_3307.jpg

Poking my hand through a hole in the construction wall and taking a snap revealed this! Which is, uh ... not much of anything.

SAM_3308.jpg

Another angle revealed this! ... Whatever this is.

SAM_3309.jpg

Well, here's the corner of the construction fence. Windseeker and its park entrance are to the left; GateKeeper is the roller coaster on the right.

There's a historical plaque to Helen Keller commemorating, particularly, her address to the Lions in 1925, challenging them to be ``Knights of the Blind''. The button underneath works, and plays a short explanation of her at Cedar Point.

Abnormally long queue for the Sky Ride, the suspended-car ride that takes people not as far down the midway as you'd think. I believe the other station is at the far end of the queue line here.

The Peanuts-themed performance and dance show. Note Lucy dressed as a witch, Franklin being there, Charlie Brown as Frankenstein, and do you recognize that character at the far right, the one going as a skeleton?

SAM_3317.jpg

Seriously, because I have, like, no idea who this is supposed tobe. And yes, I'm the Peanuts superfan here. Like, no blanket, so he can't be Linus, whom the book said was in the pumpkin patch anyway. Schroeder has yellow hair. Rerun? He's supposed to have Linus-like hair but thinner. Pig-Pen? Not that clean. Shermy? In the Year of our Lord Two Thousand and Twenty-Two? But if not Shermy, who last appeared in the strip before Man walked on the Moon then who?

SAM_3318.jpg

Another picture of the gang, being haunted by ghosts and whatnot as the monster gets nearer. And who do you imagine the monster might be?

SAM_3326.jpg

Yup! It's Snoopy, having one of his adventures again. ... seriously, could that character be Shermy? That seems like the least bad fit but why not put Schroeder in the skeleton costume?

And everyone has a rounding time singing the Time Warp, a song child-appropriate because children can't hear the verse, only the chorus.
