It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas everywhere you go

Not apologizing for my mathematics blog this week, just see where I'm unrepentant this time around. Instead, let's start in on pictures from Crossroads Village and our too-short trip right before New Year's.

Seasons Genesee from Greetings County Parks! Photograph I take every year of the entrance to Crossroads Village.

Looking back at the sidewalk and the parking lot. I don't remember the role of that little gingerbread-decorated building. The weather had warmed up but was threatening to freeze again so we could look forward to walking on ice-covered mud. It didn't come to that, though.

Looking into the village. We got there late (you can see it's already 6:00), but the place still looks great to see.

And there's the light-wrapped tree, everyone's favorite decoration!

This is new, a huge reindeer set up to look as if it's peering over the building's edge.

Slightly different view letting you see how the reindeer figure is three separate fixtures working together. Also how muddy it was.
