krazy koati

The only purpose this Congress ever had

Spotted at the DVD store: a copy of 1776, dutifully filed with the discs whose name began with ``L''. I chuckled and backed away.

Also spotted in the children's section, some anime thing whose name didn't last in my mind (sorry for that). I'm not exactly sure the contents, because the description was printed in cursive, pink letters on a slightly different pink background, with one of those waxy-translucent sleeves itself criss-crossed by dark pink wires. But from what I gather it's about an elementary school girl who never suspects she has a magic notebook until (something) and then some miniature dinosaur fairies enter her life to (something) and then (something). It certainly looks cute, and I have to say there are few things in life that wouldn't be spruced up by adding to them miniature dinosaur fairies.

Trivia: When laid out in 1666, Newark's Broad Street was the widest street in the English colonies. Source: This is New Jersey, John T Cunningham.
