Time Event
12:10a
In touch with the ground

What's my humor blog up to? A curiously well-received bit about making presentations. Some Fangface thoughts as if the world needed any. A bit about stuff going on in town, inspired by two, TWO local institutions closing, one by choice and one by being condemned by the fire marshall. More on that as it comes to pass.

So here's some more of what we got wandering around Anthrohio in the evening Saturday.

bunny_hugger making her way to the dance, in suit this time.

A quick peek outside, to the patio that during the day housed the rescue rabbits and that normally had the fursuit group photograph.

bunny_hugger is not hogging the spotlight; it's just the raccoon feels shy about being near her dazzling self. I understand; I'm sometimes shy about that myself.

And a quick check at karaoke, which was going through the trouble of figuring out why the computer wasn't finding things it should have had.

One of the location label cartoons they've had since the Anthrohio name took over. Also one of the Please Ask Before Taking Pictures signs because that's what my sense of humor is, I'm sorry.

The sign outside the Headless Lounge and yes the photograph I was compelled by my soul to photograph.

Trivia: In 1955 United States railroads owned 723,962 boxcars. The typical boxcar spent about 8% of its time under way, earning revenue. Source: The Box: How the Shipping Container Made the World Smaller and the World Economy Bigger, Marc Levinson.

Currently Reading: The Friendly Orange Glow: The Untold Story of the PLATO System and the Dawn of Cyberculture, Brian Dear. Because I went through one of those days where like everybody in the world I knew was reading it or talking about it as if they read it is why. Though it's interesting in its own right.

Reading the Comics, March 24, 2018: Arithmetic and Information Edition and I get to talk about black holes some!
