krazy koati

When the rain comes you blame it on the things you have done

Since it's plausibly Friday how about a recap of my humor blog's past week? Thanks, I like the idea too.

Well, that's enough amusement park stuff at the Columbus Zoo. What's the next and other kind of thing we ever do? Ah!

Last June we made a visit to Cedar Point on a day that turned very, very rainy just as we were in hour three of the four-hour drive there. What to do? Carry on and hope for the best and be glad that, given season passes, all it cost us was gas and time.

So it was a chance to poke inside and fiddle around on the pinball machine in the Casino. Other people did too, trying to find the rare pinball machines that wasn't out of order. You can see at least two games here with signs on them.

The Casino has stuff besides pinball, including a good variety of video games and some mechanical or semi-mechanical games, such as these shooting gallery games.

View from the Casino out to the Kiddie Carousel, just as the rain had let up enough to enjoy the scene again.

Bird who'd settled in to some of the rafters at the Kiddie Carousel and was going to take the ride from there, thank you.

The little park where Corkscrew roller coaster passes over the midway. There is a tiny creek in the area; this isn't it.
